Rancher's Daughter Quilt Along blocks 2 through 5

I blogged on February 3rd about the first block I did in the quilt along
that is going on at The Scrappy Appleyard....
I started using Once Upon a Christmas fabric by Susan Winget.......
I used that fabric in the first three blocks.....
For the fourth block I switched to Star of Wonder fabric by Nancy Halvorsen....
The fifth block is back to Susan Winget fabric.....
I am linking to John'aLee's blog with the blocks I have done so far....
There is also a flickr group with photos...
Join in this fun quilt along....it isn't too late to start...

another finish

Last night with my Tuesday night quilt group... I finished another project in January... the Be Attitudes Be Warm mini quilt by Nancy Halvorsen... I added some heart-shaped leaves I learned from the FMQ challenge... It feels so good to have this done.... Smiles and hugs....Caryl

FIU weekend

Pat Sloan is having a UFO party on Quilt Mashup Forum and that has inspired me to check out those projects I need to finish up. I am working on a Nancy Halvorsen Be Attitudes mini quilt. I started it in January 2009! I bought the book and the kit in April 2008 in Deer Lodge, Montana at Quilter's Corner.
This is the first one I have started in the book. I also bought kits for Feb, March, Oct and Dec.
I at least hope to get this mini quilt done and hung in January. This weekend I hope to identify more of my projects to finish and get them on my list for 2012. Smiles and hugs....Caryl
