November FMQ Challenge
The SewCalGal blog has Sara Vedeler this month for the tutorial.
She has an excellent tutorial on the spiral. I practiced a little bit on paper and then did spirals in the border around my Roman Holiday HST tablerunner.....
I wish I would have not used the red, green and white thread. It would have been better to use all of one color. It is really fun to do and I plan on using this sprial in more projects......................................
Go check out this tutorial.
Smiles and hugs....Caryl

It looks great! I have not had the nerve to try FMQ yet but someday I will. I like the different colors in this but it must be a pain switching out the colors all the time.
ReplyDeleteI have so fallen off the wagon with the FMQ challenge I signed up for at the beginning of the year. I'm glad to see you are keeping up. Your spirals look great on that runner!
ReplyDeleteLooking good. I planned to do the challenge too, here it is November and I have not started. :( Maybe I will have to go back and try to do it a little at a time.
ReplyDeleteI love how you quilted your spirals on spiral-printed fabric, Caryl! Please post a photo of the finished table runner. It looks lovely from what you've shown here.
ReplyDeleteUnas telas muy bonitas a las que les queda muy bien este acolchado.
