You can find the pattern on Craftsy.
I used bobbins and bits fabrics plus others. I used my walking foot for straight and wavy lines. On my Bernina it is #4stitch and 2 width and 2 length.
I hand quilted the centers of each block using Aurifil #12 matching thread and fabric with finishing set tart and macaroon from Fat Quarter Shop online.
I will link with crazymomquilts
Very pretty. I love the wavy line quilting - so wish my Janome had a stitch like that. Great finish!
ReplyDeleteIt is called serpentine stitch and you can do a search for it for your machine.
DeleteWhat a pretty pretty quilt! I love your fabric choice! I also love your wavy line quilting... I will have to try that! I too, have a Bernina - my 2nd one, my first one died after 25 years, so a couple of years ago I bought my new one. Its a bit over-whelming, but it is suppose to do many things :)
ReplyDeleteBe sure to try it...it is one of my favorite stitches to do.
DeleteYour color choices are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI had a lot of Pat's fabric and decided to use it because this was her pattern. And I had some other fabrics that blended..lucky me!
DeleteYour fabric choice is so pretty on this quilt and I like the long log cabins. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is really fun to make!
DeleteI have the pattern printed out. That is it. No further progress here. I love your colors. The quilting is perfect. I need to try that wavy line, I think my machine has it. (?)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing
