Mini quilt finish and Tuesday To Do #59

I finished a little mini quilt to hang.....and this is also

Tuesday to do #59  to link up with  Chris Knits

Here is my progress from last week:

Tuesday To Do week of May 4 through May 10:

  1. finish a mini quilt I started this week ✅
  2. sewing with paper crafting
  3. kawandi runner

Here is a photo of the mini quilt I finished.  It has some bits of fabric from other people and I used the pieces I had and made it wonky..  I sewed on a foundation fabric.

AND here is a photo of it hanging on the wall....on that vintage wall shelf/former mirror I have shown before.  There is a window to the side that is casting a shadow.

Here is a photo of my kawandi runner with all pieces pinned in place.

I have been enjoying paper crafting and watching Pam at The Paper Outpost and getting lots of ideas from her.

Here is a photo of some of it I have done......

I used strips of junk mail cardstock thickness and wrapped with old music pages and glued and cut into tiny tags.  I use the fuscia metal ruler for tearing the paper.  On the right are some little books with stitching down the middle to hold it together.  I am using tea dyed papers in some of them.  Some of the tags are punched with the tag punch and it has a place to add the hole at the top and also an eyelet setter.  One of the tags I covered with floral fabric.  In the top right is a little book I made several weeks ago with an old manila folder that I embossed with stars and swirls and then added a piece of fabric with stars and swirls and glued it over the edge.  All of this is so easy and so fun!

Tuesday To Do week of May 11 through May 17:
  1. Paper crafting things to add in my creative journal
  2. clear off my cutting table so I can work on a sewing project
  3. kawandi runner...do hand stitching every day.
Smiles and hugs....Caryl

  1. The mini is so cute, especially hanging on the vintage shelf display. The Kawandi looks rich with color. Since I’m head over heels into paper crafts right now, I was reading and examining all your works. It looks like a lot of fun.

    1. Yes...paper crafting is a lot of fun...and I am doing such simple stuff...nothing very complicated. I watch too many channels on YouTube and get too many ideas! BUT I love the sewing and painting too!

  2. Hi Caryl! I hope you are doing well and that everything is fine. The little mini wall hanging you made is pretty darn nifty. It looks great hanging on the vintage holder. {{Hugs}} a bunch for you. ~smile~ Roseanne
